The National Association of Medical & Hygienic Products (NAMHP) began as the
Association of Tokyo Rubber Medical Device Manufacturers in 1928 by sixteen companies.
After a short pause due to World WarU, it restarted under the name of Tokyo Association of
Medical & Hygienic Products in 1947 with the participation of new members. The
association continued to grow and prosper by embracing and meeting the needs of the times
or promoting sales activities or participating in exhibitions under the strong relationship
and co-operation with the medical wholesalers in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and the rest of
Japan. In May 1996, it renamed the National Association of Medical & Hygienic Products.
The NAMHP now has a history of more than 85 years and consists of 59 leading
manufactures whose business are closely to health and wellness industry providing health
care and support services ranging from infants to elderly people .The declining birth rate
and aging population is advancing at an unprecedented speed in Japan, it has increasingly
become necessary to promote gself careh in which people protect, maintain and promote their
own health and wellness without resorting to insurance coverage. Every day, we encounter
completely new and advanced technologies, values and information that we have never seen
before. All NAMHP members engage in daily business activities to provide high quality
wellness and services by reflecting such trends in products.
